Online Cooking Class Mandu, or Korean dumplings is a common food made and eaten by the entire family together at the beginning of the Lunar New Year for the health and well-being of the household. Mandu, in particular, has a delicate skin filled to the brim with vegetables and meat, offering a handy package of nutrition on the go. There are many different varieties of Mandu according to the contents, method of production, and shapes.
On January 25th, we will be making a homemade Mandu, fully stuffed with pork and shrimp based filling. With homemade dumplings you made, we are also going to learn how to make Mandu Jeongol (hot pot), and Gun (pan fried) Mandu!
Please join us for an online ZOOM session of cooking with chef Nancy Lee who has been showing our foreign resident community many cooking tips at the Seorae Global Village Center.
