Online Cooking Class Tangsuyuk is a popular Korean-Chinese sweet and sour pork (or beef) dish. It is crispy deep-fried pork (or beef) in a delightfully sweet and tangy sauce. The dish was first made by Chinese immigrants who settled in the port city of Incheon, where the majority of ethnic Chinese population in South Korea live. The dish then has been modified for the Korean palate. Nowadays, Tangsuyuk is one of the beloved Korean-Chinese dishes along with two noodle dishes – jajangmyeon and jjamppong. Normally, Tangsuyuk is made of pork, but for this time, we will be making a Pyogo(shiitake) version which will give more chewy and flavory texture. And of course, it is good for your health!
